Our vision
Imagine a place with a mix of around 3,000 high quality and energy efficient homes. A place with strong connections to Stirling and beyond. A place that’s sustainable in every sense of the word with everything a community needs to thrive.
That place is Durieshill.
Located along a stretch of Roman Road between Stirling’s Pirnhall Roundabout and Plean, Springfield, Barratt and David Wilson Homes are creating a new village with around 3,000 private and affordable homes for all ages and stages, provision for education, business opportunities and community infrastructure.
Durieshill sits in a distinctive landscape with rolling hills, woodland and historical views across Stirling. Complete with tree lined streets, Durieshill has been designed to ensure countryside and biodiversity are preserved – a significant portion of the development will be woodland, community landscaping, allotments and amenity space.
At the heart of the Durieshill there will be a village core – a meeting point for neighbours to come together and establish community. It will include a community campus with a new school, extensive sports and health facilities, an adventure play park, and businesses like shops and other services. It will be an accessible, vibrant, friendly space featuring public art, benches and planting to create a useful destination within the village for the community to enjoy.
